The Blue Lakes met young funs of extremes – Royal Rangers landing their troops in a piny wood. The camp under the title Alfa and Omega was represented this year by the delegations from Cherkassy, Donetsk, Avdeevka, Slavyansk and Mariupol. Among the mentors and leading stuff there were the workers from Zhytomir and Kiev.
On Sunday summer night in one of the Mariupol districts full of addicts the Outreach concert has taken place in which more than 5 churches participated.
In the hot summer day in “Republic “Pilgrim” refreshing event has taken place – a battle with water ballons. Last year the youth team of the Saddleback Church, CA gave the sets of special balloons for such battles.
“Do you love me? Tend my lambs!” – this verse was under the focus of the ministers of the Charity Fund “Pilgrim”, having assembled at the 14th conference in Svyatogorsk, at the Blue Lakes.
The Charity Fund “Pilgrim” has been dealing with the prison ministry for over 10 years. The chaplain ministry today is getting to higher level, the approach and the format are being changed but the purpose is still the same – each person has to make a decision – to live without God or to accept Him in their hearts.
The academic year is over and therefore the longsuffering summer holidays of children have started. This summer the large program (many trips, ascensions and entertainments) wait for the pilgrims.
Today on Friday in the 29th of May for the school children of the country the last bell has rung. The children from the center of children’s rehabilitation “Republic “ Pilgrim” were not an exception. For some of them it was the very last bell. They are graduates.
One of the most popular hobbies in “ Republic “ Pilgrim” now is dancing. In spare time young talents develop the plastic of break-dance and RnB.
In the 23rd of May the first missionary trip of the children’s Christian missionary school which functions at the Church of Good Changes took place. For the 1st time in their life the kids could impart their messages and faith to the people, to tell them the truth of the Gospel.
