The idea of conquering the Biblical mount had come to “Republic z’ pilgrim” long ago but it seemed so unreal then. There were several reasons: the top is located at the territory of eastern Turkey and in accordance to it there were judicial difficulties with documents to go abroad and the prices along the trip too. Besides the Mount of 16400 ft according to the descriptions of the professionals is not of those mountains which intend to surrender so soon.
Therefore, we started to the mountains next morning. We had 5 pack donkeys whose everyday duty was to climb up and down. Regardless of the heat and in difference from us they were climbing confidently and calmly. It was very hard for us to ascend even without heavy backpacks – since it is real Asia where it’s very hot at the day time as a rule. However by evening it was quite cool that was some kind of discomfort for our organisms which are not used to such over falls of temperature.
These days in Donetsk the regional seminar in the work of the specialized centers of the region took place: special schools, special boarding schools, and rehab centers for children, state orphanages. The workers of the Charity Fund “Pilgrim” have also participated in the setting ahead with the executive director of the center of children’s rehabilitation “Republic “Pilgrim” Tatyana Karpuchina.
These days the pilgrims have explored the rocky country in miniature – the historical reservation “Rocky tombs” which is located at the distance of 37 miles from Mariupol. It’s famous for its unique granites which don’t have analogies in Europe either in chemical or physical structure.
Czech mission “Nehemiah” sent the missionaries to children’s rehab center not for the 1st time. After 2-week-staying with the former street kids the citizens of Europe make a decision to improve their Russian and to commit themselves to the ministry in Ukraine.
Today, after 3 years of insisting desire to take from the customs the minivan which had been given to the center of children’s rehabilitation “ Republic “ Pilgrim” the children have decided to give this rather worn out minivan to the highest management of the country
After 4 years of wandering in gipsy camps the ex-president of the state of former street-kids “Republic “ Pilgrim” has come back to his state, the only president of gipsy origin Roman Arzhynt.
The former street kids and now adopted children by the workers of the Church of Good Changes and the Charity Fund “Pilgrim”, boys and girls conquered 5 highest mountain tops of Ukraine having accomplished 15-mile-trip. On the top of the one of the most complicated mounts - the Priest Ivan’s Mount, there was a prayer made by kids – special pray for each orphan in Ukraine to be able to live in family with Mom and Dad.
The hot July heat could not be an obstacle for the young conquers who landed their troops on The valley of kayaks not far from the city of Faros at the Southern Coast of Crimea. Precisely there the punctuality and creativity contests took place as well as courage to ascend the Crimean tops.
These days in the village of Chervone not far from Mariupol the women’s conference has taken place. Its basic purpose was to inspire, to support, to direct women to serving God. The organizers of the event – the team of women’s ministers from the US and charity fund “ Pilgrim”.
