A couple of years ago on Christmas Eve a very strange story happened to me ...
I was holding my little young son, rocking him and singing a tune. In this sweet, wonderful time inside me clearly and distinctly sounded a verse from the Gospel, which you probably know: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3-16 I confess I was not really surprised by these well-known words that suddenly surfaced in my memory. Just pressed a little harder my son to my chest and continued to sing a tune. However, these words came back: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have eternal life." This time I took seriously a text of Scripture, again sounded in me, then again, this Biblical verse, as if a voice of the prompter it arose within me. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have eternal life." Increasingly aware that I have a dialogue with God, and not just a memory of the Biblical quote, so insistent pop-up in the subconscious mind, I began to feel something ... on my hands I held most dear to me being - a baby ... And in my heart sound: "For God so loved ..." Something occurred to me that day. Once in a special way, I realized the love of our Heavenly Father for all of us. Very tightly hugging my young son , I could not hold my soul embraced and taken possession of my emotions that have fallen into sobs. They were tears of gratitude for the fact that at that Christmas night did for us with you God! Under the Christmas tree He put not just a nice little gift to mankind ... He gave us His heart! He gave the Son! These days, I bow my knees and pray to the Lord in the New Year, and Christmas week has helped us all appreciate what happened when the angels sang in Bethlehem Christmas song! Christmas and New Year is the perfect time to renew the spirit and decide to upgrade or restore their relationship with Him and with the Church. Do it! Спасибо, Господу, за Его любовь к нам, Кто же еще может отдать свое драгоценное дитя на такой позор и смертные муки? Значит мы для Бога так дороги и нет другого выкупа за наши души! Поэтому Господь и дал тебе, Геннадий, такое служение - деткам сиротам и умножает твой труд и мы видим плоды этого труда! Да, сохранит тебя Всевышний и благословит всю твою Пиллигримовскую семью.

Recently, the "Republic Pilgrim" has opened a real library. Now the library contains over 1,000 books on various subjects. All this became possible after the resident of Mariupol has donated their home library to children.

We all sometimes find ourselves in difficult situations - some more serious, others - less. Reasons to be among the "unlucky” many: financial crisis, illness of a close relative, influence of bad company as a teenager. Especially hard when children get in such hardships - they do not always have a strong shoulder of parents to lean on, a dear person who is willing to help by word and deed. Even if child is not an orphan, he had a million chances to stay alone with his problems. And the benefit, if in child’s life there is an adult, who can help him get out of a difficult situation, not to "go downhill”, but help to place correct priorities in life.

In two categories "Family History" and "People's Hero" winners were announced, the family from Mariupol from Charity Fund "Pilgrim", Eugene and Svetlana Isaev, who became first in the country to adopt HIV-positive children.

President of the charity fund "Pilgrim" pastor Gennadiy Mokhnenko received a diploma from International Human Rights Film Festival "STEPS" for social activism and fighting for the rights of children. His life position, work with a difficult category of children - with drug addicts, and homeless children - were featured in the films "Makarenko from Mariupol" and "The Gvardia" filmed by the Association "Emmanuel."

Recently, the studio crew, "Shuster live", with leading and famous journalist in Ukraine, Savik Shuster – came to shoot program at the "Dream House". For several years, family of Eugene and Svetlana Isaev adopts and takes custody of children living with HIV /AIDS. The filmmakers shoot a program about their everyday life, joy, and sorrow. A week later, the family traveled to Kiev to shoot a talk show "Shuster live. Adrenalin”, the theme of the program was problems of people living with HIV and AIDS.
